I don't know where he draws this inexhaustible inspiration which enchants album after album, nor how he manages to surprise us again after so many years, but this "Prelude To Space" is no exception : powerful and heady sequences, a universe which streams and clicks, and haunts the listener for a long time. Very pleasant 'light' ambient-Berlin School type of album... not in any 'spectacular' sense but really good melody fragments, hypnotic (but not 'over the top') sequencing; cosmic pads etc. Probably gets even better over time. Martin R
